Who we are
AIBooked provides scheduling and booking services at aibooked.org. Hosts use the service to arrange appointments with their visitors.
What we collect
We collect account details and booking information, such as names, email addresses, optional phone numbers, answers, and meeting times. Connected calendars may provide availability and the event information needed to create or update meetings. Payment processing is handled by Stripe; AIBooked does not store payment card numbers. Usage and cookie data may be collected to operate and improve the service.
How we use information
We use information to provide scheduling, confirmations and reminders when enabled, support, security, and billing. We use only the information necessary for those purposes.
AI processing
AI features are not active yet. Before activation, we will identify the free AI provider and explain how event text and visitor questions are processed. Provider retention and training terms must be reviewed; no no-training guarantee is made in this draft.
Sharing
Booking information is shared with the host you book with. Service providers may process data for hosting, email, SMS when configured, calendars, and payments. We do not sell personal data. Hosts are responsible for their own use of visitor information.
Retention
We retain information as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect against abuse. Exact retention periods will be documented before full launch. You can request deletion of information we no longer need.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, or an export of your information. GDPR and CCPA rights apply where required by law. We may need to verify your identity. For host-controlled booking data, contact the host as well. If SMS reminders are enabled, reply STOP to opt out.
Security
We use access controls and service-provider security measures to protect information. No service can guarantee absolute security. Never include passwords, card numbers, or unnecessary sensitive data in a booking form.
Children
AIBooked is not intended for children under 16. If you believe a child has supplied information, contact us so we can review and remove it as appropriate.
Cookies and usage data
Essential cookies and local storage support authentication and timezone preferences. Non-essential tracking will require appropriate notice and consent where required.
Changes
We may update this policy as the service changes. The last-updated date identifies the current version. Material changes will receive appropriate notice.
